ProGame shock pads scoring at the Danish SuperLiga

ProGame at the Farum Park

The 13th of July was the season start of the Danish SuperLiga, where the current champion, the FC Nordsjælland, will introduce its new synthetic turf field installed at the Farum Park. The stadium was built in year 2000 and has a capacity of 10.000 visitors.

This was also ProGame’s premiere at the Danish SuperLiga!

The new field is a high-qualitative and innovative synthetic turf system developed especially for this club. The system is based on lateral drainage, which means a very efficient sub base construction where the water does not flow under the surface, but is expulsed laterally out of the field.

The football turf is manufactured by Limonta Sport, Italian company with more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
Limonta Sport, FIFA Preferred Producer for Football Turf, brought to the Farum Park a system with the patented “GEO Plus”, a 100% natural and organic infill already installed for other professional football clubs such as AC Milan, Ajax Amsterdam, Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow, Athletic Bilbao, AC Cesena, etc..

ProGame shock pads guarantee the consistent shock absorption and vertical deformation across the field, offering stability and long lasting performance to the whole system. In order to comply with the official requirements of the Danish Football Association, an electrical heating system was installed on top of ProGame shock pads. This heating makes sure the field is playable at all times of the year, even during the very cold Scandinavian winter. Since ProGame shock pads do not absorb water, the field will not freeze even if the heating system is turned off, also the very high temperature resistance of Trocellen foam avoids any substantial material variations due to fast changes between cold and warm environments.
A very high qualitative turf and natural infill complete the system and provide perfect ball roll and bounce.

Now the Farum Park near Copenhagen is ready to welcome the best European clubs during the Champions League, providing the best conditions for world-class soccer and proving once again the unlimited benefits offered by synthetic turf to the sports world.
